Don't Look Now (1973)

Director: Nicolas Roeg

Stars: Julie Christie, Donald Sutherland, Hilary Mason

John and Laura Baxter are in Venice when they meet a pair of elderly sisters, one of whom claims to be psychic. She insists that she sees the spirit of the Baxters' daughter, who recently drowned. Laura is intrigued, but John resists the idea. He, however, seems to have his own psychic flashes, seeing their daughter walk the streets in her red cloak, as well as Laura and the sisters on a funeral gondola.

This movie is really slow with the beginning seeming kind of pointless. The beginning is just too long with not a whole lot going on in it. The movie has a great cast with an amazing setting, being shot in Venice.

This movie looks at the delusion and grief of this couple losing their daughter. I do not think that this movie was trying to be a horror movie at all. It just got shoved in that category. There is nothing scary about this movie at all. It can be confusing at times. It is a watchable movie, but that is all I would give it. It is just really slow. Watch it if you want. I would not watch it again.
