Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984)

Director: Charles E. Sellier Jr.

Stars: Lilyan Chauvin, Gilmer McCormick, Toni Nero

A young boy witnesses his parents murdered in front of him. Well, he was hiding in the brushes across the road, but he watched as his father was killed and his mother raped at Christmas time by a man dressed as Santa. The poor kid is sent to an orphanage run by nuns. Oh yeah, Mother Superior is a mean bitch who hits him and yells at him. As a young adult, he gets to leave the orphanage. He gets a job at the local toy store where he excels and is liked by all. It's Christmas!  The young man’s boss asks him to play the store’s Santa for the kiddies. That night he goes nuts and kills people. The cops go all over town on Christmas Eve looking for anyone dressed like Santa Claus.

This movie messed up a lot of holiday time for kids that saw it. This was the first movie where Santa Claus comes into your house and kills your parents without even leaving a gift. That is a crappy Christmas for a kid. No presents.

Santa is going to kill you this year, or so they say. A holiday film the whole family can sit and watch by the tree. This movie was supposedly banned in 13 countries or something of that manner or was it to make more money. I pick the second answer. Give this movie a chance if you have not seen it. Enjoy.
