Director: Joseph Zito
Stars: Vicky Dawson, Christopher Goutman, Lawrence Tierney
This movie starts with a vintage film promo of soldiers returning from WWII, which is something you never really see anymore. A man gets a Dear John letter makes him so upset that he comes back home to kill her and the guy. He finds the two young lovers outside at a college graduation dance making out in a gazebo. After 30 years of not having a graduation dance on campus, the students want to have one. Those frisky kids get the town and the college’s permission and ta-DA, they are having a dance. Mainly a sorority house is picked for the killing. What a lose. The one good thing about the movie is the killer is dressed in WWII military gear with a type of gas mask and using a pitchfork as a weapon. You never see that as a weapon, but in the third Friday the 13th movie. That movie takes place on a farm, so it made more sense. The death scenes in the movie are great with tits a shaking in the shower, but the movie itself is bad. It's good bad, but most may still see it as bad. Watch it once and is all you will need. The killer is pretty creepy with the gas mask and all. It made me think of the killer from My Bloody Valentine.
This movie is for hardcore gore and horror fans. The movie itself is kind of cheesy by today's standards, but for when this movie was made it was a B rated horror movie that is well worth watching. You will not be scare, but you may be a bit creeped out. Go out and grab a copy. Enjoy.
