A group of young adults are going to a football game out-of-town. On the way, they decide to camp not too far away from the town that they are heading to. There is a run in with a dark truck. They wake up late the next day, in the afternoon. How can anyone over sleep in the woods? One of the vehicles breaks a fan belt while they were asleep, because that magically happens without the engine running. Oh and they had a few items missing when they woke. They all decide to split up with one going to the next town and the rest heading to the game. The two that go to town are a couple, so they start looking around the town to find people which there are none to speak of, but one man who runs the gas station. People are chased and killed through the rest of the movie.
This movie is one of the too many remakes that have been created from the horror genre. The sets on the film are great, but the acting and background story have been done too many times. The House of Wax is completely made of wax which I thought was a neat twist. The sets look amazing. That house would be the coolest thing to visit and tour the inside of it. The acting was decent for what the movie was. It was a remake, after all.
Watch it, even though Paris Hilton is in it. She does get killed in it. A good death scene and not seeing her rest of the movie is worth watching. That is a reason alone to watch it. Enjoy.
